Everyone is excited about exploring new territories to see what we can do with fabric, and some fantastic accents, you won't be disappointed. Mark your calendars for Sunday, October 28th. All proceeds will go directly to the ministry for fabrics, tools etc. As you know, the quilts and now prayer shawls, go to Life Alliance in Miami, who then presents them to the family of a Donor.
Also coming up on November 8th, as a group, we will be attending the Quilt Fest, held in our own back yard, at the Convention Center. Last we a few of us went and we were inspired and in awe of the talent, variety and incredible people we met and quilts we saw. Certainly we did not return home empty-handed, it was a great opportunity to acquire fabrics from vendors all across the country.
These are all works of art. I can't imagine the hours of love and labor into each one! Of course, the quilts we make are no where as intricate as these, but just as special and beautiful, and straight from the heart!
